I still remember those days when I was so naive about Internet. The most used internet programme (for me) at that time was mIRC and emotion icon or emoticon is my favourite (and still). Emoticon is defined as:
“A portmanteau of the English words emotion (or emote) and icon, an emoticon is a symbol or combination of symbols used to convey emotional content in written or message form.”

Emoticon can be used to express your feelings through the mean of symbols. For example, “ok”, “ok :)” and “ok ;)”. Each has different meaning from each other. Here, you can tell the receiver how do you feel through the emoticon. You don’t have to say that you are sad when you use :( and I find that is very helpful and useful. Thus, if you are a die-hard fan of emoticon use it wisely~
*I wonder if the people using braille system have their own emoticon or even on telegraph.
800 x 600 pixels Emoticon wallpaper. Use it by having it at the center (without stretch) and choose and white background for it. That will do ;) So, what’s your favourite emoticon?

i’d say mine would be :D… yknow, the one with the big grin- exposing the buck teeth and all. haha. the use is pretty universal though, especially when you’re truly happy or when you’re guilty as charged, so play innocent! haha.
