In this article, I will try to share the relationship between the social media services and how it could help you to improve the way you use them.

Maybe it isn’t too much to say that RSS feed is the gap breaker between existing Internet technology and social media. But how? From RSS feed technology, many services has been created to cater the hungry Internet readers namely Google Reader, Times and even the brilliant RSS composer called xFruits. WordPress (WP) is an amazing platform. It can be intergrated with over 45 different social media services with just using ShareThis plugin. If that is boring, what if you can integrate WordPress with LinkedIn profile? It is useful for business owners as it allows their website content to reach more users in a different environment and people.

The wonders of WP doesn’t stop there. You can now synchronize it with the iPhone using Automattic’s WordPress for iPhone apps. It allows you to write posts, upload photos, edit pages, and manage comments from this revolutionary smart phone.

From the same company, they also produce IntenseDebate, a comment system management plugin. Fruit here means what does social media gave to us in return. Firstly, it creates opportunities to businesses and individuals. After the existence of twitter, how many companies have been built? How many people got hired? With the current economic crisis, social media slips through it steadily while we can still celebrate the symphony of the Internet on the social media platform.

Social media has given us the chance to connect with people that we never thought we could have met.
